Five Year Plan 2010–2015

As University Teacher Educators, we are committed to Realizing the Democratic Ideal by:

• Preparing effective, innovative and reflective educators who are prepared to participate in a community of learners.
• Incorporating unit and programmatic data to improve and expand pedagogical practices.
• Developing and fostering partnerships across the P-20 spectrum.
• Designing, implementing and evaluating diverse experiences for all teacher education candidates.
• Attracting and encouraging diverse teacher education faculty who collaborate through teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Providing University Teacher Education leadership and shared governance.
