This scholarship was established in 1986 to provide an endowed scholarship for students in teacher education at Illinois State. This scholarship was one of four endowments that were created by graduates of the college between 1929 and 1937. Illinois State is proud of the opportunities created by this scholarship to uphold the importance of teaching.
(1 award, $500) Candidates must be planning to enter the teaching profession, and have achieved a 3.0 GPA. The fund was established by the Class of 1929 to endow a scholarship in teacher education.
Essay: Please describe your desire and plan to enter the teaching profession. This essay will be collected in the online application. Please limit your response to no more than 500 words.
